Bing

Bing is the first female traditional djembe player and West-African dancer from Singapore.

Since 2004, Bing started learning and playing traditional djembe with mentor Kelvin Kew, and studied with Grandmaster Mamady Keïta across various countries.

In 2015, she started learning West-African dance from Rumiko Fujii, TTMDA Chief Dance Instructor. In 2017, she was recognized as TTMDA Dance Instructor and has since been teaching West African dance in Singapore.

She is currently TTMDA Dance Instructor and TTMDA Certified Teacher of djembe.

She is also the Technologist for Lîla Drums Productions and TTM Djembe Djembe Academy. She is driven by the belief that technology is wasted if nobody knows how to use it.
